INSTALLATION GUIDE

MOBILE PRESETS

​

Here is a step by step guide to help walk you through the simple process of importing your new presets into Lightroom:

​

1. Install/download the Adobe Lightroom Photo Editor app on your phone via the App Store if you don’t already have it.

​

2. Install/download the ‘Files’ app on your phone via the App Store if you don’t already have it.

​

3. Go to your email confirmation and click the ‘Digital Download’ link ‘AESTHETICvibes.zip’. This will prompt you to an internet browser and ask you to download the presets, click download.

​

4. Open your ‘Files’ app and open the ‘Downloads’ folder. Tap ‘AESTHETICvibes.zip’ to unzip the file. Open the folder that appears and then open the ‘Presets - Mobile’ folder.

​

5. You will now see the preset names. Tap on a preset, click the box/arrow button at the bottom left corner (or the three dots on android) and locate/tap your Lightroom app. Tap ‘Launch Lightroom Now’.

​

6. You will see a photo appear! If not, the photo can be found directly in your Lightroom 'All Photos' album. Select the image.

​

7. You will now be saving this preset in your Lightroom app. Once the photo is selected, select the circle with three dots at the top right corner of your screen. Tap 'Create Preset'.

​

8. Name the preset – ex. “Preset 1”. Make sure all settings are selected/checked on. Under Preset Group, tap 'User Presets' and 'Create New Preset Group'. Title this group. I titled mine "Aurora Presets". Tap the check mark on the top right corner.

​

9. You can repeat this process for each preset you want to save and you can simply just add them to the same Preset Group.

​

10. Time to edit an image with the presets! Click the arrow at the top left corner to go back to the 'All Photos' album. Click the photo button at the bottom right corner to import the image(s) from your phone. Scroll the toolbar and select 'Presets'. You will see your presets folder and presets saved there. Simply click the preset you want to use and it will instantly apply to your photo!

Hit the check mark, and the preset is now applied.

NOTE (iPhone/Mac Users): If you bought the Mobile Presets on your computer, you can simply AirDrop the .DNG files from the ‘Mobile Presets’ folder. Then open Lightroom, and import the blank squares from your camera roll. The preset should appear. Now start at Step 7.

DESKTOP PRESETS

Here is a step by step guide to help walk you through the simple process of importing your new presets into Adobe Lightroom Classic CC:

​

1. You must have the Adobe Lightroom Classic CC program on your desktop computer. If you don’t already have it, you can get it here.

​

2. Once you purchase the presets, you will be directed to a confirmation page where you will find the download link. You will also receive an email that contains a download link. That link will expire in 24 hours, so make sure to download the preset pack within that time.

​

3. Unzip the file to open folder.

​

4. Open Lightroom Classic CC on your desktop. Select a photo. Open the ‘Develop’ module at the top right of your screen.

​

5. Click the ‘+’ sign next to ‘presets’ on the left hand side. Locate the presets folder and select the desktop .XMP files and click import.

​

6. The presets will appear under ‘presets’ on the left of your screen.

​

7. Time to edit an image! Scroll through all preset options to see which best fits your photo.
